I am torn between a stackable or ventless combo. The ventless combo benefits are obvious but I’ve read negative feedback about it's performance. I would appreciate any testimonials regarding a ventless combo.

We have a ventless Splindie and would prefer the stacked as it takes several hours to do a small load with the ventless. Drying is less than ideal. You also can not dry one load while washing another. Vented is the mim and stacked is ideal between the two choices.

We have a VENTED Splendide combo and love it. Takes half the space....does almost the same size load....put the clothes in and push one button....they come out dry.

There are pro's and con's to each type.
Stacked units wash and dry at the same time (if you have ample shore power) but they take up more room. They dry faster than the combo units. Combo units fit more places and don't take up as much storage space. They are slow but don't require much power. The type you need depends of your requirements and your method of doing laundry. The number of persons generating dirty clothes makes a difference as do your habits of doing all laundry on a certain day (a machine that does both at once and as quickly as possible) or starting a load and leaving for the day (who cares how long it takes and you don't have to return to take the clothes from the washer and put them in the dryer).
We use the combo in ours as a "hamper" and when it is full, press the button when on the way out to explore, shop or whatever. Clothes are done upon return. We will also start a load on the way to the next destination and the clothes are done on arrival.
Both types, IMO, are vastly better than sitting around a commercial laundromat but you still have that option, especially in a nice campground where the laundry is near the pool, etc.

Do not get a ventless. My vented combo unit works very well and I love it.

We have the ventless Splendide---as we got it for dirt cheap...Yes it takes about 2 1/2 hours to do a load of wash (usually 1 days worth of clothes---my DW has the hang of it and when done--all is fine....she loves it--although next time it will be a stacked one...we would wash at bedtime and wake up and clothes done.

Don't get a ventless. They use cold water to dry and consume a lot of it. Plus they don't dry very well. No matter what you buy, just make sure it is a vented model.

It's a matter of expectations; if you expect the combo to perform like your home washer & dryer, you'll be very disappointed. Within it's limits, the combo performs very well. We're on our third Splendide over the years, and the newer model 2100 works well for us. As full timers, we're in no hurry & the combo gives us more storage room. There are many tricks and tips to better performance; do a search & you'll find them. Plus....when that sucker starts spinning, your whole MH turns into a "Magic Fingers" bed!

We also have the vented Splendide and like it very much. We had looked at the ventless and vented and decided we wanted vented due to the quicker and more efficient drying. When we bought the MH and asked to have the Vented Splendide put in, the dealer said that is all they ever put in and had never heard of anyone asking for the ventless model.
We don't think we would care for the stackable units either as they take more space, and would require some custom cabinet work in the MH. Most of all, they make you move the laundry from the washer to the dryer yourself! Pure laziness, but the convenience of putting the clothes in, starting it up, and then forgetting it until they are dry is great.

If you use the rig a lot get a stacked set. Our rig has a set (Whirlpool) and it is a standard apartment size setup. We use the rig about 50% of the time and the DW loves it -- she can do any or all of the laundry at any time and the cycle times are only slighlty longer for the dryer than at home (takes a little longer as it is a 120V rather than a 220V dryer).
