Add a book to your RV library -- a canine first aid manual.

Many available, search Amazon for a large number of titles.

I am trying to talk our local community college into offering a course on canine first aid.

After one experience trying to remove a cholla ball from Jax's side, I bought a leatherman tool to carry with me.

We like to hike so I got one of those collapsible dog bowls and I carry extra water. If it's a long hike, Jax has a set of dog packs so he can carry his own water and snacks.
