The same thing happened on our 2006 Bounder. The quickee steps would not operate. They had been worked on twice before, both times when the unit was still under Manufactury warranty. The second time, they replaced the motor. The last time, about two weeks ago, it went out again. I took it to CW for repairs. The mechanic said that it was not the motor but the housing was not lined up correctly. He said he could repair it but it would not hold for long. They contacted my Insurance co who refused to pay for the repairs. CW argued with them,on my behalf and back and forth, for about a hour before the ins co reluctantly aggred to replace the whole step with a completly new one.I had one of the Air Conditioners repaired at the same time.The Ins covered all but the $50 deductable. This is one time I have to disagree with people who say the INS is worthless.( A completly new step was only $40 more than the repair would have been. CW agreed to eat the extra $40 labor.)
