They are all down here at the beach! Lots of Cs,TC, and As. I haven't been down to Hatteras, but with all the TTs going through I'm sure that they are running full down there at Camp Hatteras and the KOA. I sold my Class C yesterday and a Class A was sold last week where I had mine parked at Camper RV and Trailer Supplies here on the beach. So there is still a market and lots of interest still in our hobby.

I 40 from Ft. Smith to Little Rock seems to be busy as ever. I filled the Kenworth in Russellville the other day to the tune of $700. and something. I'm sure glad I ain't paying that bill. I think it gets about 4-to 5 mpg moving Caterpillar rental equipment.

I use to see lots of RV's of all types on the highways around here...mostly folks headed to the beach or back on Route 50. This year, I see hardly any. It's remarkable how few RV's there are traveling.

I'm on the water a lot, I see even fewer powerboats out, esp. the larger ones. Boaters are paying even higher fuel costs than RV'ers.

For what it's worth:

Here in the Idaho state park where we are volunteer park hosts, the visitor rate is down one percent compared to last year.

They must all be in the state of Ca. Hard to get into any desirable RV park through out the state. I am still trying.

We still go on weekend trips every 3 weeks. Usually within 150 miles. Still a lot of RV's in the campgrounds.

We don't see as many rigs on the road as we did last year. We have not changed our travel plans. We have the coach so we're going to use it!
