After last camping trip to the beach a week ago, I shut off my chassis power switch (near the entry door), plugged in shore power, and went about my life.
Today I was going to move the unit, so naturally I tried to turn on the chassis power. No green light, and, of course, nothing happened when I turned the key.
Battery is OK. Battery cables are good. Even hooked up portable power unit with no effect.
When I unplug shore power, a relay under hood clicks about every ten seconds. Coach power is good.
Unit is 03 Four Winds Infinity with Ford V-10.
Any suggestions on diagnostic procedures?

I believe its a Thor product, You will have to find the power management panel. A black box that says BATTERY CONTROL CENTER, mine is under hood but I'm an "A" Class. Inside that box there is a relay, there are actually two but one has a little pin that is a reset. You might check to see if the pin is sticking out. Check both because it's not easy to see. Just push the pin (button back in). Hope that takes care of you power problems. Note mine has tripped twice in two years, the shop told me it just happens. But notice it happens when disconnection of shore power. Bill
Please let me know how it went.

I forgot to mention that the unit is a 35 foot, Class A.

Then your Battery Control Center should be under the hood on the Left side. I believe the relay was at like 4 O'Clock.

The battery control center should not, at least not suppose to, disable the chassis. The engine should crank and fire. The battery control center shuts down only coach manufacturer installed items.
I would look for the starter relay on the Ford chassis. Check for power there. There should be a fuse link coming off the battery side of the relay that provides power to the chassis installed fuse block and the ignition.
Check your ground from the battery while you are there.

Enblethen, is right I got it kind of backwards between the coack and chassis. Also make sure you landing gear is up, slides are in, and you should know all your other lock out interfaces.

Shouldn't the chassis lockout switch pull in a relay to activate the circuit?
Thanks for the replies.
I'll check it out tomorrow.

Generally yes, but a lot of coaches have additional lock out safeties. Like if you jacks are down, it will keep the engine from starting. Just like trying to start in park. Some are interfaced with the emergency brake and will lock out the starter. Some require the slides to be in... Good Luck Bill

I forgot that the clicking you here could be a circuit breaker. Listen close and locate it.
