I've been busy with work, and now restoring all my programs and updates on my main HP notebook PC...display failed a week ago on startup, one long beep and two short ones, couldn't do anything or backup anything...sent it back to HP hoping it was just a display issue (as their phone support thught) and asked them not to re-image the hard drive to factory specs. unless they had to.

Well, they replaced the LCD screen, the motherboard, the DVD-RAM drive and the hard drive...and I've had to start from scratch...fun, fun, fun!

RVing down to South Jersey Sunday for a delivery/setup Monday, may try to visit NJCats...no Labor Day plans, it's suicidal to try and move around NJ on that weekend.

A busy September right up to the rally for us, something happening almost every weekend...and still need to get the RV in for awning replacement and other service.

YUP...I HAD AN AWNING REPAIR OF MY OWN THIS WEEK GERRY. WAS COMING BACK FROM N.H. SUNDAY & STOPPED FOR FUEL ON THE PIKE. SUNDAY AFTERNOON TRAFFIC WAS HEAVY & THE PUMPS WERE A MADHOUSE. SOMEONE ATTEMPTED A THREE POINT MANEUVER (WAS MORE LIKE A MANURE) & BACKED INTO ME. TORE OFF THE REAR AWNING ARM.

DANG 45 DEGREE PUMPS. IF THEY WERE STRAIGHT ON, PEOPLE WOULD BE LESS LIKELY TO TURN AROUND & FACE THE WRONG WAY (I'VE SEEN IT THOUGH). PLUS, TRYING TO WAIT FOR TWO TO OPEN UP AT THE SAME TIME IS A CHORE. SOMEONE ALWAYS LOOKING TO SNEEK IN FRONT OF THE 54' LONG GUY.

OH WELL, IT'S FIXED NOW. NOT LIKE NEW, BUT NO ONE GOT HURT.

I'VE FELT THE COLDNESS OF MY WINTER....

I NEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD EVER GO....

Hi All,

Just a reminder, please let me know what you can bring for the pot luck dinner. We could use some desserts and more dishes. Also, if someone could bring potato or pasta salad and chips for our Fri. night cookout, that would be great. Napkins too!

We still have 2 sites available if anyone wants them.

Hope you are all enjoying the beautiful weekend!

On the road again...down in a "quaint" campground today/tonite called Old Cedar Family Campground in Monroeville, NJ...beautiful Salem County...many cows on the property here, as well as heffers, bulls, bears...whatever...makes me feel like I'm back in Copakey with LocoMikey...hope I don't have to milk anything as payment for my "theme" site! Can you moo like a cow?

A PC delivery tomorrow in Woodbury NJ brings me down here today, just don't want to drive the 80 miles from home in the morning rush hours around the Philly area, so this is best...now did I remember the Jeep loaded with all the stuff to deliver?

Getting ready to go out and examine the local flavors down here in Salem County, I know the area pretty well...never heard from NJCats, so I guess she didn't want me visiting...can you blame Judy & Paul?

Well, decided to drive down and see if they were home...they were waiting for me, she said she emailed me back saying to drop by, never got it and so I never responded...anyway...glad I stopped.

Locked my keys in the Jeep at their house, went out for dinner, then over to the campground to get the spare set.

All is well with Paul and Judy, and they want to get to the next NES Rally, dry or not.

Ready to chill and see the closing ceremonies...cya!
