Well I have been pulling with the Silverado on our last 2 trips.
I was testing the truck performance before I made the decision to buy, but after the firth time that I pulled the camper with the Silverado I was sold on the truck.
I know that it is louder and I know that the smell of diesel is different that the one from gas, but the pulling experience is so great and the feeling of safety so relaxing, the power right on your hands and be able to pass cars without worrying about if you will make it, that I don’t care how much more expensive the diesel is compare with the gas but when you put all this together I will pay the $20 or $30 different on every camping trip.

Now I know why the entire diesel trucks owners are talking about.

Have a nice pulling.

Actually, that wasn't a very nice comment by me, so I deleted it.

I too am on my first diesel truck (well, for 16 months now). I still love the sound of a good V8...but there is something about a diesel that is just.....better. I was driving in a parking garage today that reverberated the sound of the engine back into the cab (with the windows down). Before I knew it, I was doing 30 mph just to hear the turbo go. It is truly addicting, as long as you can afford the fuel.

I said you must have been riding in rough riding cars.

No offense meant...
