1996 Suburban 2500 w/F60 option (1 ton front springs), 4x4 ,big block,
highest option package, tow package. After market tires & wheels. Me
about 180lbs, tool box about +200lbs and misc stuff about +50lbs.

Brochure listed 'curb' has several from 5,500lbs to 5,900lbs.
GVWR 8,600 lbs
GAWR, front 4,250lbs
GAWR, rear 6,000lbs
MTWR, 10,000lbs
GCWR 16,000lbs

Actual weight with me, toolbox and misc stuff: 7,400lbs

1980 Silverado C10. The weight ticket at the local dumps had me and
nephew, both about 180lbs, so subtract about 360lbs and about 50lbs
of misc stuff. After market tires and wheels, bumper guard so another
approx 100lbs. 5,160 - 100 = 5,060 - 360 = 4,700 - 50 = approx 4,650
actual weight with AC/Auto and highest trim option, so another couple
hundred lbs over 'curb', which should be 4,650 - 200 = 4,450 as the 'curb'
