Kathy, Greg had a spider bite that sounded just like that about two months ago. He did not go to the dr. about it but had an appointment about three weeks after he got it for something else. The dr. said the major concern is a secondary infection risk. He gave him some antibiotic ointment for it that had a little steroid inflamation reducer it in. Greg used it for a few days and stopped. I think it didn't really make a difference. I will say it took about two months to heal and even now you can feel where it was, it is a hardened spot of tissue (it was on his right upper chest). At one point it was about the size of a walnut and very protruded and totally red with a black center. He did have a reaction of some fever and chills about three days after we think he was bit but it passed in about a day.
Hope this info helps. Take care Kathy and don't take any chances if it doesn't improve soon or if you develop any secondary skin infection. Tonya

Got the RV all packed, the bike on the Jeep, and going to head out tomorrow for Maumee Bay SP. See all of you when you get there.
Remember that Maumee Bay SP is in the Emerald Ash Bore quarantined area. You can bring wood in, but can not bring it out. It must be burned there.

Tonya, I remember you telling about Greg's bite at Mohican. I have some bacitracin and Hydrocortisone ointments, so I'll maybe I'll try it. It is soooo tempting to just break the blister, but I know better.
I'm in the MD's office every day now it seems, but rarely get to see the doc

We will be leaving on fried egg after work. We'll be taking her over easy, so we'll be arriving late. We may not see some of you until sunny side's up. Going to bed now, my brain is scrambled. One last thing before I go, I'd like to propose a toast, so you butter listen up.
