I had a similiar situation in my last TT maybe this will help.......
If I remember correctly the wires were in a box near the battery. They were connected to the center pin of the round trailer plug which gets 12vdc when the TV is put in reverse, So I added backup lights on the rear bumped of the TT
Not related to this Toipc: The last few times I ran spell check I get an error message

When I bought my 2005 Komfort I was told by the dealer these wires were for a solar panel.

coolbreeze01,
I'm very happy to find someone else with the same trailer as me so I'm hoping you can help me out with another issue. I've emailed Komfort about the mystery wires, as well as about this, but haven't received any reply yet.
On the inside by the door and next to the control panel box, there is a small switch panel with three switches. One controls a set of interior lights, another controls an exterior light, but I can't find what the third switch is for (the one closest to the door). It appears to do nothing and is a mystery? I've opened up the switch case itself, and there is wires going to it, but I'm at a loss. Do you recall what it is for?
Also, after what you stated your setup about the batteries, I'm now really curious as to what Komfort will come back with. I'm hoping pre-wired for solar, but I'm typically not lucky. I'll also check next time i'm out if they're energized.
Thanks all for your comments, humor and insight. I'm glad I found this forum.

We have the same 3 switch panel on our Komfort. Here is what ours do:
- interior lights
- exterior light by the door
- exterior lights one on the front cap, one high above the city water inlet
Hope this helps

I also have three switches by the front door. They control (1) a pair of interior lights, (2) the outside light, and (3) the light under the door for the steps.

None of the "stupid" answers were meant in harm.....just a little fun. Check and see if power is getting through to the wires (dont use your tounge) with a volt meter....then see which switch controls the wires, they may be for a front outside light option that didnt come with your TT.

If pre-wired for a solar panel, that would be major cool! I'm looking at adding a solar panel myself, I'm wondering if my Mountaineer has pre-wiring for solar. Hmmmmmmm...now I'm off to call Lakeshore RV!
