Have been thinking about one for a while. Use a cable lock now but not sure that cable is thick enough.

thanks roger

I use a toy lock and love it because it is always ready to use. But it is just a cable and is no more secure then the cable you are using now. It is just really conveniant and makes it real easy to lock up your toys..

No more looking or untangling the old cable

It doesn't take much to cut the braided cables, no matter how thick. A 20" bolt cutter takes one or two attempts. A 36" bolt cutter treats it like butter. It's rather a time and effort deterrent. Why spend the time to take your locked up stuff, when the next camp over is wide open?

Crime of opportunity. Just a cable wrapped around with no lock is better than nothing.

Where can we get one of these. I have seen them on a Sierra but there is no way I would buy a Sierra just to get one.

R&S RV Repair in Riverside sells/installs them. I have one and love it. I also use a heavy hardened chain(anchor chain) with an electronic piezo alarm lock that sounds off loud as hell if the chain is moved or cut. It is easily as loud as my car and truck alarms, but at a very high pitch.
