When we leave Gold Beach OR, our next stop will be Lincoln City OR. Will Hwy 101 be OK to travel in a 38ft MH pulling a Jeep?

Yes but take your time as the traffic can be heavy in the summer and the road is slow. I live just south of Lincoln City and 101 is a mad house today.
Take it easy and enjoy the great view. I drive it several times a year with no problems.

Yes, traffic--both vehicle and pedestrian--is the only problem with OR 101 in the summer. Be prepared for sudden stops going through towns. People cross the street wherever and whenever they please. As has been stated, you won't break any speed records.

And watch and go slow because of the Bike touring groups. They run the fog line on the right.

There may be sudden stops in and out of towns on Hwy 101. Many drivers need to make left or right turns from Hwy 101 without turn lanes.
Towns are fussy about their speed limits. Pay attention to them. Port Orford has a nice wide 4 lane Hwy 101 through town. The speed limit is 30MPH.
I think the one area of Hwy 101 that I don't care for is south Newport. A two block section is very narrow.

I failed to say that we WILL be in Gold Beach the middle of Sept. and then from there going to Lincoln City. We aren't there yet, darn it. I was just thinking ahead to what would be the best way to travel from one point to the next. Sounds like we should be glad it will be AFTER Labor Day, huh? Hopefully some of the crowds will have thinned. Thank you all again for your help!

After school starts the crowds will thin out. If weather is good on weekends you may encounter more folks. If you are not in a hurry suggest stopping at Winchester Bay County RV Park. Just across the bay is an oyster factory yummy. And in Newport OR there is the Outdoor Resorts RV Resort really nice place.
