Peoples

We are going to the Q area this winter and are to understand that there will be a lot more sun than where we live. I was thinking about buying one of those windshield sun shades.

What I was woundering was there any regulations on how far one can drive with it up?

are you talking about the sun shade which snaps to the outside the coach? Or is this something installed on the inside? Dona

Am I reading your post correctly? How far can you drive with the sunshade up?
I guess it depends on if you want to see what you are hitting or not?

In our park, they move motorhomes off and on the sites with the the screens over the front winshield (which you can see out of), but I would think it is totally illegal to drive with a sunshade up in the front window.

I would have a hard time driving my truck anywhere but backwards with our sunshade up.

just driving around you will not need extra sunshade protection. A good pair of sunglasses and your regular sunvisor. Sorry, I wasn't understanding the first post. When parked, its good to have the sunshade in the window of the truck, helps avoid cracking dash and keeps inside of truck a bit cooler.Hope this helps/ Dona
