Very odd. In the past month there have been 3 notes on our PUP asking if we're looking to sell. At least one was likely a dealer as it was a printed up flier. Guess they're a hot item right now.

Due to the increased cost of fuel, PUPs are very popular. In the Okanagan and Kootney Valleys in BC, I have seen a dramatic increase of PUPs and less and less TT's and even a slight decrease in MH's.

I agree! Pups are actually quite easy to steal, especially if they are a hot item right now!

I've got a tongue lock on mine, but I guess it is time to get a chain for the wheels. When they see my TT they may think I don't need the pup anymore and want to help me get rid of it.

The big thing I have noticed this year is the LACK of RV (buses) and fifth wheelers on the highways. Very noticable. I've actually seen quite a few pups...

When we first sold our TT and started our search for a PUP a dealer told me that the HTT had really hurt PUP sells and the they only keep a few in stock but they could order what ever I wanted. I don't think that is the case now because I have driven by his dealership and he has plenty of PUPs to choice from.

We left for our 1 week trip to WI. on Jul. 6th. I have never seen so many RV`s on the hwy headed home. you would`ve thought that gas was a $1.00 a gal with the amount of RV`s we seen! I`de say at least 3/4`s were MH,TT`s and 5`ers the rest were PuP`s.

We live in Alberta, Canada. This summer we traveled to the province just west of us, BC and saw numerous PUPs both on the highway and campgrounds. More than you would ever see in Alberta. When we camp in Alberta we are often the only PUP on the campground. We feel like the poor cousins. Large TTs and motor homes are still hugely popular here.

Fuel was a lot more costly in BC I noticed.
