Apparently in this area, the incentives are working. My local Dodge dealer, who usually stocks around 20 new 1/2 tons at all times is now down to just six 2008 1/2 ton Dodges for sale! They are anxiously awaiting the first shipment of 2009s to replenish the supply!
If I was in the market for a truck right now, and didn't mind having a truck payment again, I would jump at these offers. I sure would love to have a Hemi! I just don't want another payment right now.
Correction, as of today they are now down to five 2008 1/2 tons available!

If you call that a hook, it worked for us. We are scheduled to take delivery tomorrow of a 2008 QC long bed 4X4 CTD; stripped down version. Price was great, and for the difference we can live with rolling up the windows - we used to do it all the time when I was younger. To each his own, but a new 08 cheaper than a used 05-06? Not much question for us - our first Dodge diesel, and we're looking forward to towing with it.

Thats going to mean my use '07 won't be worth much at all! I guess I'll be keeping it for a good, long while.
It could be worse: you could have a Ford or Chevy and be stuck with them for a good, long while...
Yeh I had one of those "best" trucks a few years ago. Dealer must have liked it too because it sure spent a lot of time in his shop.
Have the Dodge now. It just won't let me get to know the mechanics on a first name basis like the Chevy did.
