My wife and I had been looking at an FSC2800. We'd been waiting a bit to get the cash up to buy one, and now that WW is no more, I'd like some input on some alternatives.

I'm looking for one around 28 feet long and has a side hallway -- it leaves so much more room in the kitchen. A couple of the other things I liked about the WW was the 150 gallons of fresh water and 40 gallon fuel station.

Who else manufactures stuff with a layout like that? Anyone? Or should I buy one of the few remaining FSC2800's and make sure I get a 3rd party warranty?

Thanks all...

There is no alliterative for the WW, either you have a WW or you wish you had a WW.
Do yourself a favor and go look at all the other "WW want-to-be trailers" and you will see what I am talking about.
There are plenty of new ones still out there all over and many used ones just like your looking for.
I just did the exact same thing you are going through and looked at everything and said screw it and got another WW a month ago.

Thats a pretty big statement after all the troubles WW has had.
To the OP, do yourself a favor and do some searching. Theres plenty of trailers out there every bit as good as a WW.

I don't know about the layout but where quality is concerned I really like Gear Box. JMHO

Now that is brand loyalty

I bet there are a few guys with bad frames and no manufacturer support that wish they had something else right now.

Even with all of the problems Warrior created for itself they sure had some nice haulers.

Take a look at the Jayco and KZ lines for better quality and manufacturer support.

Sandstorm by Forest River has a 29ft. side hallway that is a great looking unit. I would have bought it but it was too heavy. I loved the coach and everything about it. I can not speak on the construction of the unit, though it did look like it was well built. I ended up buying an Attitude by Eclipse 27FSAKG which has a center hallway but offset enough for privacy in the front bedroom. My wife needed a place to get away. The boys and I needed a place for her to get away. Haha!

Look at the Rampage by Skyline, they have a 28 ft(281) with a side hallway. We almost bought it but we got the 28 ft(286) for more cargo room. With the side hallway the fridge is in back of the door instead of in front of the door. We are really happy with or trailer.

Couldn't have said it any better. I bought a 08 back in January when everyone was first catching wind of the WW woes but I didnt care...there a truely well built trailer.

Ya, if I were you I would go out and pay the big bucks for one of the left over WW trailers and hope to god you dont have the same problems all the other owners had. At least they were fortunate enough to have warranty work returned within 60 days, Oh wait, there will be no warranty.

Tough call on your part. There are several other trailers out there. You can get a WW to impress your friends or you can get another trailer that fits your needs and has a warranty.
