I really agree with Dixonmatco. I was super luck enough to go to a seminar once where Smokey was the guest speaker. The guy was amazing!!! I got to talk to him after and he was a super nice guy; real down to earth.

That's true with Indy Car (Honda) but the Toyota,Chevy,Ford and Dodge engines in NASCAR are not identical.
Ok, I'll give you that they are not totally identical except for:
Cubic inches
Basic design (pushrod, overhead valve, 2 valve per cylinder, V8)
Carburator
Intake manifld airflow
Horsepower (controlled and inspected by NASCAR)
Close enough for me.

The last time I checked NHRA had rules also in Top Fuel, Funny Car and Pro Stock.

Why do these guys make so much about the rules, and the enforcing thereof? Are ya'll watching the race? Tell me, what would YOU do to improve on this kind of racing? I'm watching a GREAT race!
