Mine did the same thing my fix was to take bottom hinge off and put a small washer on the pin that goes into the door it lifts the door up so it will be able to push the switch in enough to stop the beeping.

We've had the shim kit installed on ours but still have the problem with the right door. I have taken a thick piece of card stock (about one inch square), folded it over and placed it in the middle of a piece of clear packing tape. Placed tape and card stock on the door so that when door is closed, the switch trigger hits the paper. I know the door is closed and sealed, just that the switch trigger isn't depressed enough to close the switch and prevent the alarm.

Ours did the same thing the first 2 weeks we owned it. We had it adjusted which helped while we were parked but it would still go off while we were driving. We got some of the thin sticky back foam from a craft store that they use for mounting pictures and stuck a piece of that on the sensor and it has worked just fine for 9 months now.

I had the same problem. I have the fix. The switch needs to be depressed more. I used a small plastic stick-on slider disk (like the kind you use under a chair leg when moving furniture - about the size of a quarter). It needs to go on the right door. Align it with the switch and stick it on the top of the right door. This will depress the switch. The slider disk is just the right thickness. Good luck.

Actually, I'm kinda confused ... you all keep talking about the right-side door. On my unit, there are two slim metal pins that come out from the side of the left door -- near the top -- that are depressed by what look like the tops of two smooth screw heads when that door is closed. There are two light switches -- at the top of each door -- that are depressed and turn off the fridge lights when the doors are closed.
Now, the pull-handles have springs in them that pull the handles back in place after the doors are opened and closed. The left-side one rattles a little bit and I've been wondering whether that matters. That's where I have the scotch tape, to hold that one in place.
Anyway, on to the important question:

Nope ... gee, that would have been a very slim pleading "I'm on an Island & can't get to an RV shop," since there is a HIGHWAY to Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake (and a Camping World nearby).
No, I'm in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island (WA), from whence it costs more than $300 to take my rig to the mainland. I'm workkamping here for the summer and will be heading back to Utah in early September.

It's the switch on the top of the right side door (the same switch that turns off your light)that needs to be depressed further. The pins on the left are for the door heater (heats the divider so the doors don't freeze together).
