My wife and I were there. Wish we would've seen the thread before we left. If you saw the AT&T Real Yellow Pages hot air balloon at Captain Ron's Saturday or Sunday morning... that was us.
We were their first customer at their tent Saturday. I bought my wife one of their CDs and they autographed it for her.
We saw a lot of REALLY NICE tow vehicles on display at Captain Ron's. I had to wear a bib to contain the drool.
We rented a 20' boat from Tan-Tar-A Saturday afternoon and tied up with a few others on the race course to watch some of the fast boats. 20' was a little small to be out there with the Cigarettes and Cruisers, but we had a pretty good time nonetheless.

I used to go to it before they really commercialized it. This was back in the 80's. A good friend of mine is a Water Patrolman that helped organized it.
