What does the owners manual show.
I would think if it has a transfer case, you would be able too.

If your transfercase has a neutral position it should be ok, but I'd check with Toyota to make sure.

ANYTHING can be towed as long as you're willing to pay to have it set up or pay to have it fixed when it fails due to towing.

Toyota has, to my knowledge, never officially OK'd four down towing of anything they make. Can it be done? See my previous paragraph.

Toyota says no; if you damage or prematurely wear out your manual transmission from towing, Toyota won't cover it under warranty. What kind of warranty do you have on your '94 pickup?

One of our camping club members tows his late '70s manual transmission Toyota pickup everywhere he goes, but that's not a lot, maybe 1000 miles a year. It has 250,000 driving miles on it. He hasn't broken it yet, towing or driving. But he understands, if it breaks, it is his responsibility to fix it, not to go crying to Toyota.
