We had Dahon's smaller version for more than 10 years and kept it folded up on our sailboat and put more than a thousand miles on them Then we went with their 7 speed, Boardwalk, which is similar to the 6-speed that Camping World sells. We haven't put as many miles on them since we also bought full size bikes that we carry on the front of our tow vehicle.
I think they can be the answer for those folks that just want to do riding local to the campground primarily on paved streets. They fold up to a large suitcase size in less than a minute and unfolded in about the same time.
We have our two Dahon's now at our campground in Yellowstone and use them whenever we can.
The adjustability of the bike seats (and optional handlebars) makes it suitable for a junior higher to an adult.

We own two Gotham Citizen 20" folding 6 speed bikes, which are very similar to the Dahon, and love them. We ride ours inside the campground and haven't tried them out for longer distances. They fold very compactly and can be set up in a minute to ride.

We have two six-speed Dahons (CW @ 149 per) and are totally happy. We bought them for the convenience and assumed we would use them for short rides. We immediately found that with the great seats, and the six-speeds, we use them the same as we do our full-size bikes. We ride them on long rides and they are clearly the equal of our regular bikes. My wife actually would prefer the Dahon as she feels safer on it. The center rof gravity is lower.
We store them in a toolbox (oversized) in the bed of our truck and have them conveninet if we want to drive to a trailhead. We also have panniers for them and water bottle holders.
Very good addition to our recreation supplies. We got them because they were recommended by friends who used them as we do now.

We have the single speed and the six speed. The six is aluminum and a much better bike to ride. I would not buy the single speed. Being steel, it is heavier and more prone to rust in a camping environment.
