Do you use it?

What size is it? Big enough? Too small? Wish it was bigger, octagon, or square?

Bought one - 13' x 9' and set it up in the backyard.

Thinking it might be tight around a picnic table and am wondering if I should get the 15'x13' one. Neither one very expensive - Ozark Trails from Walmart - #36.00 and $40.00 respectively.

Hauls better 1/2, 3 kids, myself, and a 2003 ez go clays car.. It's now ready to spend the winter in the garage for more mods. More neon, strobe lights, alarm, a pa system, maintance, and whatever else that comes along. This golf cart does wheelies and travels thru 7 inches of mud when need be. Two honda eu2000i gens twinned to supply the electrical power. Latest addition an 04 Honda Goldwing. We have a Quick Shade, 10 x 10 feet. Easy to put up, Easy to take down. We can move it around for additional shade when when the sun shines under the awning, position it over the picnic table, move it anywhere, stores easy too. We've had it for over 10 years now, still love it. Wouldn't consider a screened in room. We like the "shade" idea better. More practical for us, but.... to each his own!

Havedreamwilltravel, I'm curious to know how big & how heavy those screen rooms are. We've thought they would be nice to have when we're staying someplace (especially someplace buggy) for a minimum of 4 nights. Any less than that, it's probably not worth the time & effort to set up - at least to us. We had one of those screen rooms that attaches to the awning when we had our PUP and it was such a pain to put up & take down that we used it probably 4-5 times total in 17 years.

I like the shade idea but this last trip we hit yellow jackets something terrible in one campsite and in the other - gnats and flies. Saw a lot of people with screen rooms and wondered how many of you use them and what brand size you all had.

Set the one up in the backyard - not even 5 minutes to set it up so it's not a big deal.

We have one and used if for the first time in South Ga this Spring when we camped for a week. It did not keep the bugs out. The mosquitoes were especially bad, and we only ate outside a couple of times. We were really disappointed, but will give it a try again. Ours was from Walmart also, and though it took both of us to put up, it didn't take a lot of time.

We bought one last year, I think it's 15x15 or close. Got it from Academy Sports. Easy to set up and take down. Kept the majority of the bugs out and the rain off the picnic tables. Gave us an outside place to sit at our "family gathering" (shade and rain cover). Covered two tables end to end. Worked for us!

The one I bought says it's 14 lbs. VERY light. This was one of the reasons I bought it. The octagon shaped one was 22 lbs. still light for what it is.

It says it takes two people to set up. Took me about 5 minutes by myself - but i've set up our tent several times so it was very similar so I knew the "system".

The one I bought is 13' x 9'. I set it up and was wondering if it would work well with the picnic tables in campsites. That's why I started this thread - I was wondering who had what size and did it work or should I exchange it and go bigger?

This is the one I bought: 13'x9'

This is the one I think might work better: 15' x 13'

Hi we a 10x10 portable shade and also we were able to buy a add on screen accessory so we get both shade and screen room. It has fit over most picnic tables that we have been around. Good Luck
