Help me settle a friendly argument...

I have a 13,000 btu roof A/C Unit. Is air drawn from outside the TT and cooled or does the A/C recirculate air from inside the TT?

Thanx for the replies...I won the argument but now we need to find a way to create a positive pressure environment in out TT's. The reason being that both our TT's seem to fill up with dust when travelling down gravel roads.

I sealed up all the holes in the floor and it really helped with our dust level in our moho. I used the spray expandable foam. I got two paint lights and put them inside. Then I crawled under at night to see where the light was coming through.

To create a positive pressure environment, while traveling, won't you have to draw air from the outside?

I have spoken with a few people that have had this trouble and they installed a high-velocity reversable fan such as the Fantastic and suck outside air into the coach to pressurize it. Placing a filter material in the vent opening would additionally filter the incoming air.

That was my next question...would driving with the vent cover open a few inches damage it? I wouldn't think so.

No. You could even buy one of those fancy covers that go over the entire vent.
