I have 2 lights 1 on each side of the rear view camera, are those back up lights ?? Do they go on when you shift into reverse or is there a switch to turn them on with ??
I backed into the new barn for the first time and couldnt see a thing.

Thanks, Rich

Probably a switch labeled, "Docking lights". They will only work when transmission is in neutral.

For parking in a campsite after dark.

Are they Factory installed or after market?

Have a helper take a look to see if they come on when You shift to Reverse!

Ours are on a rocker switch with a light bulb symbol pointed down. Ours can be turned on anytime. Not the best switch marking but the lights are quite handy.

Why would docking lights only work in neutral if you were backing into a camp site after dark?

I don't know how docking lights got into this discussion. My docking lights are on the sides of my coach, not on the rear by my camera. A very easy way to see if your lights are back-up lights is to start your coach, put on the parking brake, put it into reverse (at idle speed) and get out and look at the lights. If they're on they're back -up lights and they come on automatically when you're in reverse. If they're not on they may still be back-up lights which are actuated by a switch. If your coach is less than 10 years old, my guess would be that the back-up lights come on automatically when you shift into reverse.

Age is a state of mind. Think old and you are old. Think young and you're still old.

The lights on the the side of my coach are called security lights.
