I need to install a class 3 receiver hitch on my 99 Itasca 29N. It's on the E450 chassis. Does anyone know what will fit on the rails of this coach? It's approx 41 inches wide frame to frame, but it would be great if a standard Superduty hitch (F350 E350?) would fit in the holes which are already in the frame (3 holes each side spaced on each rail like so):

I would like to avoid buying a "universal" motorhome hitch. Any ideas?
Thanks for the help!

Here's the parts catalog. You should be able to order one from your local Winnebago/Itasca dealer.

thanks for the replies. My "drawing" didn't come out as I intended - the third hole farthest from the left was supposed to be farther apart from the other two. No matter....y'all get the idea.
I'm going to call the salvage place in Bellingham. That'll definately work!

There must be dozens of places toorder online.

Here is another, so you can compare prices and lead time.

E350 hitch receivers work. Hidden hitch and Putnam include the correct hardware to mount to the flat cutaway frames (the vans have a slight indent probably to function as a crumple zone).

Most aftermarket hitch will fit 4 of the factory holes, but will require drilling the last 2.

Awesome. This was exactly the response I was hoping for. I will get one at Walmart and drill the third hole. I have a nice Dewalt 1/2" drill that should do the trick!

Thanks for the other responses too. I did check the Winnebago parts list, but it's only a class 2 hitch.

You will probably need a 5/8" drill bit.

Tip: Use a floor jack to apply pressure to the drill.
