Does anyone have a Sand Shark from Dune Sport. They have only been in business for 2years now. I am looking at the 21 foot toy hauler. This is my first RV and also wander if I can pull it with my 2000 Chevy 1500. Has GVWR 6400; Max Trailer wt of 8500; Trailer Dry wt of 4460. I live in Colorado so I heard I decrease the Max trailer wt by 10%. Any help will be appreciated.

If you load it up, you are going to be close to or over your weight according to Trailer life.
You will be hurting here in Colorado springs. Sorry,

Check the sticker inside the trailer for actual dry weight, most brands are listing dry weight before any options. My trailer was listed on the website around 3,450 dry, actual sticker with options is close to 5K - add in a couple bikes and water/gear and it is right around 6K. Do not think you will have much fun towing a 21ft at that weight in the mountains with your Chevy, my 03 Chevy is rated at 8,200 and I would not go much bigger or heavier then my 18FT model I have now.

When I looked at trailers, all dealers told my dad that his 2006 1/2 Ton GMC Sierra could tow up to 20' trailers in general. After my research, it looked like 18' would be a better limit here in Colorado.
