Rancho Sedona RV park was nice when we stayed there last November. It's in town but a little hard to find. It's down a small side road, lots of trees and nice places. I couldn't get satelite TV there since I was under a very big dense tree. But as I recall they had cable hookups. I think they had WiFi but I didn't use it so I can't say for sure. It was a nice place for Sedona. Can't comment on Prescott RV parks. The city is ok to visit, sort of a one day thing to cruise the town but didn't have much else there for us. Beautiful drive from Sedona to Prescott and it's a nice stop over in Jerome. Happy camping!

Don't have any fantastic recommendations here in this area (Prescott). I would do Deadhorse Ranch State Park in Cottonwood or Distant Drums in Camp Verde. Not a far drive to either Prescott or Sedona from there. There is also Orchard Ranch RV Resort in the Dewey/ Prescott Valley area. It's a pretty nice 55+ resort with all the amenities.
There is a place in Prescott called "Point of Rocks CG." Hear there are lots of full-time residents there, reports are sketchy. I would commute in from the Verde Valley.
What time of the year are you coming out this way? Remember that it can get VERY cold up here in the winter. Down to single digits in Prescott Valley last winter a few times. Not all AZ is hot desert and cactus!!

We stayed at Point of Rocks in Prescott last year and had no complaints. I don't think they had Wi-Fi.

Thanks for the responses--Plan to be in Prescott/Sedona areas for about a week in the middle of Oct. Primarily to visit and explore the area--we have never been there--DW retired earlier this year so we are raring to go. Thanks, Lars

We stayed at Munds right off I-17 (I think)...and we drove over to Sedona. We had been to Sedona a couple of times before and did not want to take our 40 footer and tow car through there or on the road to get there PLUS we also wanted to spend a little time in Flagstaff and it was easy back and forth...Munds was a good place to stay for us.
