I did not have use of the outside shower this past year because of bad winterizing on my part last winter. Even though I just received the parts to fix it I realized I didn't really miss it and my DW says she won't use it. I am going to fix it but I was wondering if others find any creative uses for the outside shower other than washing sand off your feet. My Vista Cruiser has the inside shower also and we do use it when the campground showers are not so clean.

We use it for rinsing off at the beach or after a muddy hike. It's also handy for washing dogs that roll in elk poop....

I drain the water heater at the end of every trip. When setting up camp on a new trip, I use the outside shower to fill the water heater. You know, turn on the hot water knob and let the air bleed out. Since the shower is on the same side as the hose connections and the water heater, it's easier than going around the other side, step in, turn on the faucets in the sink, then go back around and turn the heater on (electric switches on from the outside). It's nice to bleed the line without having to go in. Then after draining the black and gray tanks, the outside shower is directly above the valves. It nice to use it to spray down the black-gray connections and valve, hoses, etc.

Do I ever use it for "people" purposes? Nah! The hose is too short for anything practical, even washing pets!

Ours is located right by the dump valves. At first, I thought a bad spot, but after using for awhile and adding a bar of Lava Soap, pretty good addition to the dump procedure.

Only time we really need an outside shower for other reasons is at the beach. I add a two-way Tee at the water hookup and a second hose for that.

Besides the pet water bowl, dirty dogs, and handwashing, it comes in handy for our very young grandchildrren's bathing at campgrounds - their parents tent along with us and that saves them a trip to the wash house (and the inside of grandma's motorhome stays cleaner/dryer!), and have used it to rinse off clothing and shoes that were muddy before letting them drip dry.

With no shower inside the PUP, we actually use it for real showers, with a privacy tent. We also use it to wash the kids' parts that are dirtiest.

I've used it to rinse off all kinds of dirty things, especially toys that got left out in the rain and mud has splashed up on them.

I use the warm water to start the cleaning process of the dutch oven, after a particularly gooey meal.
