What about Honeyman in Florence, I've heard that park is huge and right on the water and sand. My sister goes their every year and says its the best.

Honeyman is way back from the beach. Try site 13 at Lane County Park in Florence. The picture on the top of this page is your view. http://www.lanegov.com/parks/hvcmpgrndsitemap.htm

In addition to Sea Perch being much too expensive these days, they can flood during bad storms.

I just spent two days at Sea Perch two weeks ago.
Parked moho facing the ocean -- stone's throw away!
About a mile of open beach with tide pools at one end.
Full hookups, cable TV, WiFi and a clubhouse with everything, including fitness gym, laundry room and an upstairs viewing lounge where you can sit and watch for whales (of course you can do that from your moho!).
Excellent park but, $60 for ocean front site!
Sea Perch is 6.5 miles south of Yachats and 20 miles north of Florence. Cape Perpetua park and visitor's center is just up the road.
I'll definitely return to this park!

I don't know how far you're willing to go to experience some first hand sand and spray....but the Long Beach peninsula in Washington has one park that's right at the dunes. There are a couple of sites that are arranged broadside to the beach with a walking trail leading to beach from the campground. Andersen's RV Park On The Ocean and I think their website is Andersensrv.com....
I also enjoy staying at Netarts Bay, near Tillamook. They are a commercial RV park with a whole row of sites that overlook Netarts Bay and, a little further along, the ocean. You have all the attractions of the Tillamook area (air museum, cheese factory, etc) to fill in when you're not storm watching. The RV park even rents little boats for use on the bay.
