We have one in the camper that we will add the states as we camp in them, so far, only 3 - Ga, Ala, and NC. However, in my own challenge to visit every state, the only requirement is to physically place my feet on the ground. I've gotten every state East of the Mississippi and am working my way west now!
Hoping to add Washington state very soon!

I totally and unequivocally disagree with your post! There are rules. You just make your own.

I've surveyed a bunch of serious Trailer Campers on the subject and they say the following counts:
Stopping in a rest area for a nooner.
Eating a ham sandwich at the side of the road just as long as you take a couple od deep breaths outside.
Peeing in the busishes in the particular state but trailer must be hooked up and with you.
Short stops are also allowed if you shut the motor off on your tow vehicle if you step outside and take at least three steps.

I hope doing just one of those counts, I am not really good for too many more rest area stops.

Someone once said "when you play here you play by my rules or you don't play at all, and I guess you know why? NO WHY? Becuase it's my ball, that's why..." This is one of those things that I just can't belive it's gone on for 6 pages...

Thanks for the great debate on how to fill in the map. My question is where do you get the map to add to your signature at the bottom of your post.
Thanks Jeff

Why apologies? What makes you think you belong to an exclusive club?

this is almost as fun as the 650 page Champion Generator site, except much more important. I'm a geographer, don't need a map.

Thanks Barney.
I have tried several times to add the map, however I keep getting an error message. I hope it will eventually work.
