As of Saturday night at 7pm mountain time, Trail Ridge road is closed due to adverse conditions (read "snow" here). Forcast is for much warmer over the next week, so it should be back open soon. Don't miss it if you have a chance!

Just wait a few minutes and the weather will change here. Suffice to say the drive is worth every moment and for us locals, we are truly blessed with the amazing handiwork of Mother Nature and her husband. Get up there and plan accordingly. This time of year expect a 40F degree change from top to bottom and dress in layers. I'm sure you heard that before, but it bears repeating. Enjoy our heaven on earth.
