We have 2008 SN6400 and travel with four children ages 15, 13, 12 & 10. During the first big trip (Illinois to California via Route 66) the vertical trim on the outside of the bunk bed on the living room side began rubbing on the floor and pulling away from the wall when we would put the slide in and out. We eventually just pulled that trim off and it provided enough space for the kids to wiggle in and out of the bunks when the slide was closed. When we got home we had our dealer cut the trim down to the smallest width just to cover the edge of the wall and the kids can still wiggle in and out for now. In a few years they won't be able to fit.
We are still trying to figure out how to make the table more secure. If you use the dinette as a bed you need to be able to remove the table and use it as the base for the bed, which by the way is heavy and difficult to move by yourself. We are thinking about removing the dinette and make it a regular dinette with two bench seats and a rectangle table which would be attached to the wall and then would fold down to make a bed. It would have to be custom made because the space allows for a deeper and longer dinette. Right now it is very annoying, any movement causes the table to wobble causing drinks and plates to move and sometimes hit the floor. You think Gulfstream would have addressed this issue for 2009, but from what I can see they have not.

Yea, they haven't addressed it. We have an 09 and its a small gripe, however, our kids are 2 and 4 so we don't have to convert the table - they can just jump in the bunks. I did look at the base and it can be reinforced as is. I'm working on something now to help address it. Let me know if what you end up doing.

Since we didn't need the bed space where the table is located we had them remove the one adjustable leg and insall two permanent legs, and it works MUCH better. This does not help if you need the area as a bed. If you look at how the leg is attached to the floor it is mounted on the carpet. The best way to attach would be to cut the carpet and mount directly on the wood. It can never be too stable mounted on carpet.

There was no cost, we identified this as an open item when we puchased. There are two ways to put on 2 legs, either front to back or side to side. Structurally, front to back is best, but we went side to side (the wife liked this best). In the side to side installation, only the person with his/her back to the window will be straddling the inside post. I can't believe it would cost very much, since I think most dealers keep these standard posts in stock. If additional questions, send me an e-mail, and good luck.

Just bought our supernova less than one month ago and drove it back almost 450 miles from dealership. First time driving a 40' motorhome and I had no problems. The construction zones with bumpy roads you can feel the bumps but overall on normal highways it was very easy to drive. And now is the time to buy I got mine for almost 40% List which from what I have been told is close if not cost. Of course I bought the 2008 model because I like the option with the chair by the door versus the fireplace, especially since 80% or more of our camping is in FL. Although the super c is not for everybody and if you want a smooth air bag suspension ride I suggest a class A. We love the floor plan for our family and the fact we don't have to break anything down to camp is the main reason we got this unit. Also if you don't like a lot of attention or pulling into the campground like a rock star, I would not recommend this unit. It turns heads from the local ups drivers, to semi's, and fellow campers. We love ours.
