What kind of rig do you have? That will dictate on where to camp in the washes.

The lower the wash number, the more you'll hear the train horn. On off weekends and weekdays, the train hardly ever blows it horn away from the train crossings.

I have a WW FSC3200 with a F350 4X CB Long Bed.. 59feet total How dose it dictate, will I have to park in the soft sand or will I not be able to turn around or what other problems?

Thanks

Nope not over Halloween. I am leaving in 3 days. PRETTY EXCITED ... Trains all night!! THAT SUCKS!!
If it is that busy at Halloween dose that mean it won't be that busy next weekend??

It is going to be warm this weekend. 104 this week in Phoenix. Take plenty of gas for the genny and water.

Yep, the weekend before and after Halloween will be fairly quiet.
I am going 2 weeks before Halloween and then the weekend after Halloween.

I know Wash 2,3 and 11 will be no problem for you.
I just haven't been to the others to know or not.

Some washes have more soft sand than others so if you had a MH, you would want to be more cautious.

Since you're heading out this weekend (and not a holiday weekend), I would go to at least Wash 6. Our favorite wash is 11.

10/11 is great because of the little dunes that you can tuck your rig up close but beware of the soft sand (we air down the truck and trailer). The train noise is minimal considering other washes.

13 is a favorite too and should be a ghost town this week/weekend.

Send a PM if you'd like more info.

Wash 10 is closed for repairs. Dont go there. Ever. Especially on weekends. Especially weekends in Oct, Nov, Jan- Apr.

;P

Wash 10 is my favorite place and should be very quiet this early in the season. You can get in there, just stay away from the bushes because it gets soft. If I can get in there with an F350 4wd and a 41ft 5er, so can you...

I bought a pass last year at the Sand and Sport Show. (I guess its time to use it) It says good until September. Does that mean it is good until the end of this month or that it expires at the beginning of the month??
