Ya, that's what the Outlook is called. If you get to the store or the train tracks you went to far.

I'm Back.... First let me say I can't wait to go back.... Second HOLY HOT!!!! My son and I drank 6 cases of water in 4 days.. The fresh water in our tank was so hot I could almost not take a shower and that was just the first day.. We made the mistake of leaving the porch lights on after dark for a few hours the second night and holy crap, I have never sean so many bugs and flees. The inside of the rig was covered with those little bastards!!!! I found they were coming in those little water drains in the bottom of the windows so I went out side to tape them all up and almost stepped on a baby rattler that then chased me 30 or so feet...... So of corse I had to still tape up the windows. Swatting away bugs fending of the snake and his 3 buddies with my 40cal in one hand, flash light in my mouth (bugs could get in my moth thru the corners around my light) and tape in the other, Looking around for the now 4 rattle snakes, under the rig and under the quads. I must of looked like a complete jack ass from a distance.. I was laughing and thinking I was going to be bit at the same time!!! Had to let that out I feel better now thanks for listening..............
We ended up camping at wash 11 real nice down there.. That being said there were not a lot of people around I think we saw a total of 4 or 5 camps in all the washes... But for some reason a group of 10 camped near us, no RV 1 EZ-up and 4 or so quads and a Polaris ranger. The came screaming buy our camp all day and night with no helmets, doubles with the girls on the back bouncing a foot of the seat, even my 13 year old son was amazed at the stupidity. My wife and I were standing outside watching the sunset when 3 clowns in the ranger came screaming buy and hung a left, the road that thing on 2 wheels for about 15 feet before they rolled and people and empty beer can flew every where. I hopped in our rhino to see if they were OK and they had uprighted it and were on there drunken way before I got there (I had to buckle up).. Good times, Good times...
All and all we had a great time.
We made it over to Gecko road, we saw a total of like 6 rigs and found this jump. My son is on the orange Raptor 250 his friend on the Honda 400

This is as far as I could make it up comp hill at sun set our last night..

First off....WOW!

I'm glad you'll go back.....even with the rattlers, bugs and drunk. I can't believe the jackasses...oh wait, yes I can but I am a bit surprised for a hot off weekend. I bet the dunes were absolutely beautiful and SOFT!

Glad you had a great time.

Glad you enjoyed it. With refrence to those drains at the bottom of your window. They also allow blowing dirt and dust in your rig. I have a roll of white electrical tape i bought at home depot and tape them up before a desert trip. You dont even see the tape and then remove it when i get home.

Glad you had a good time!

I cant for the life of me understand why when you are one of the few people out there, someone has to camp right on top of you. I've woken up in the morning more than once with another rig or four, five feet from the side of me when there is no one for 50 yards. I dont get it at all...

And that was on an "off weekend". That is why I don't like Glamis any more. Sorry.

Wow that is a heck of a first trip to Glamis! We have seen 2 rattlers out there in 10 years. Those holes around the wash bushes are there for a reason! The warmer it is out there the more bugs it seems. Easter is the latest we go out and the bugs are always worse then compared to when it is cold. Your neighbors must have been craving attention from you, when no one else is around they tend to do that. Hopefully the riding was worth it! The dunes should have been very smooth. By the look of the pictures you will likely be back regardless of everything else!
