Bug wise, that is

Having just returned from a round trip across the United States, I can safely say there are indeed less bugs that you will have to contend with.

I took out a significant number of the little (And big) critters with the front of my Dodge and the leading edge of my Lance.

I am amazed at the attack strategy these unfortunates use. There are high lever bombers based on their demised location being located on the upper reaches of the camper. Also there are strike-attack species that obviously took the Kamikaze approach at my windshield. Some of these were also low-level types heading for the grill area. The individual colors are also intriguing, from black to brown and yellow to green. Big to mini splats everywhere. I’m glad I have a dually for my 835 as I was getting worried with the additional weight incurred based on the quantity of the victims.

So if you happen to travel on I-80 or I-70 coast to coast and you say “Hey Honey, There aren’t many bugs here”, you can thank Deaver the bug killer for passing through before you.

I just hope that I didn’t louse up the food chain which will change everything for years to come

Now back to cleaning the mess

Get a few dryer sheets soppin' wet and wipe 'em right off. Don't forget to rinse well.

I wish you would have come a little farther north...I just picked up a 2.5" yellow splat in the Adirondacks that would make good roofing sealant.

We had the medics (ants)come and remove the dead and wounded from the nose of our camper in New Mexico. They came in on a bridge ( power cord) to a ridge ( lower window frame)then on to the nose of the camper and they never came inside for dessert.

Yea, No Kidding

My DW suggested we contact a chemist friend for some on-sight research. We think we could give 3M or DuPont some market-share worries with a new and improved adhesive.

Thanks for the tip My arms are sore from scrubbing

I have considered this mod but not sure it would any effect for the front of Truck or Bunk Wall of the camper

I'm thinking plastic wrap that you peel-off like the race car guys use on the windshields

I believe that you are supposed to use "used" dryer sheets.

I (2-10-05) bought a 2002 F350 CC SWD PSD and a new 2003 Citation 10'8. Rancho 9000X & Toyo M55's.I have been a tent camper all my life. I wanted more comfort while doing my Willamette Backcountry Ski Patrol & Crater Lake Ski Patrol duties.11

Both will work. Please come south every May and Sept and clear some of these love bugs for us.
