Is anyone else having trouble getting Flying J's website to check fuel prices? I have used the usual and www.flyingj.com and have gotten the following:
Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.
Did they change something?

Yep, the site seems to be working okay now. There must have been a temporary server issue.

Seems like since they changed the site format they also developed problems in their servers. I've been having intermittent problems for the past 2 weeks. The old sites worked every time. Newer and prettier is not always better.

I couldn't blame them if they removed that feature for a while. (I'm glad they haven't.) Prices are so volatile that they change almost daily. With the number of stations they have, it must be a monumental task to keep it current.
(But, if they've devised a system for the individual stations to input the information directly to the web site, the jury will be instructed to disregard the above remarks.)

I had problems a couple of days ago, but seems to be working now.
BTW I noticed that for a lot of stations in VA/NC/SC/GA the diesel prices has a note "allocating". Does anyone know what that means?
Thanks,
Larry
