My experience......

A: Progressive had the lowest quote of four other major RV insurers.

B: Had one small claim and they handled it quickley and efficently.

C: Can't complain about anything where they are concerned.

D: I'll stay with them as long as they will have me and are competitive.

F: Good Luck!

We hit a sand bar with our boat and did about 2K in damage, and progressive fixed it very quickly with no hassles. I will definitely look into Progressive when I get my MH.

I have had Progressive for about four years. I had one claim on an awning. They handled it from the photos I sent them and they sent me a check. They are good.
On there road side service, I am not sure if it is counted as a claim, but it good to have and at no cost.

We've had Progressive for years and are very happy with them. Have had a couple small claims and one major: fast, fair service and no premium increase.

On our one major claim, we had to pay a rather large deductible. Progressive got the other guy's insurance to reimburse us. That made us REALLY happy!

I've had progressive for our boats and now the RV. Ran into a large storm in the Keys that ripped off the awning and the poles put some holes in the slide roof. Since we were on the road, progressive decided to wait until we returned home and brought it into the dealer. They worked all the details out with the dealer and the repairs were done within a week, no questions asked. All I paid was my deductable.

I recently analyzed Good Sams, Allstate, Camping World & Progressive’s road service insurance & found very little difference in their coverage. Sams, Allstate Camping World do cover multiple family vehicles & Progressive only covers the insured vehicle with dolly and their costs were:

Good Sams - - - - - $79 the 1st year then $109/year thereafter
Allstate - - - - - - - $ 75 the 1st year then $100/year thereafter
Camping World - $110 the 1st year then 130/year thereafter
Progressive - - - - - $44/year.

Many posters on this forum have spoken quite highly of Progressive’s claim responses.

So I switch, had both windshields broken by rocks and they replaced them very proficiently.

They lived up to their name, every year they "progressively" raised their rates!! The kicker was when I got a broken windshield on the Jeep, called them and asked what it would cost going through them, they ABSOLUTELY refused to give the info out till I said (as coached by the rep.) "I want to file a claim", then they gave me the info which was double the $$ of not going through them. Then I found out that they took away my claim free status and raised my rates for the "claim" that never cost them a ¢! So I went looking for new insurance and found that they were reporting the "claim" to any ins co that inquired about my record! I called the State Ins Com., they said it wasn't illegal but was a very questionable tactic. Now have GMAC and just got the renewal, they took away our full replacement on the MH and gave us just purchase price. That full coverage was one of the reason I liked GMAC. Tried AARP, they came in at about $1,200 a yr MORE than GMAC for the same coverage. Guess we'll stay with GMAC for now.

I know coverages are different in each state but you might want to try Farm and City....They just took 500.00 off my yearly premium.

I was rear ended a couple of years ago by someone who had progressive....they were the best insurance claims department I have ever had to deal with.

The only claim we have had in 5 years with Progressive was for damage to the coach from flying debris during hurricane Wilma. Handled quickly and completely without a subsequent raise in rates.
