When is Thanksgiving celebrated in Canada?
It would give us a good excuse to go camping down here!
I don't mind going camping twice to celebrate two Thanksgivings!

Yep, going to pick up the new okanagan 106 tomorrow and planning on trying it out before winter. Going to head for Drumheller for thanksgiving weekend sun, rain or snow.

Lots are heading out for TG.

I can't find an electrical site anywhere in Southern Ontario, at least in the parks worth going to.

Last year we got lucky a week before and got a nice electrical site at Letchworth SP. My guess is someone canceled an I got on their web site just at the right time to nab the booking.

We may go to one of a couple private parks we like. Will see how it goes.

We are supposed to go up for provincial stock car races that weekend. My BIL helps out at the track and used to race so we know lots of the people that have been there before. We are in Regina, races are in Outlook which is about a 2.5 hr drive. We will be staying at the family farm that is about 1/2 hr from Outlook. There are supposed to be around 40-50 cars running. The track is dirt and 1/3 mile. Makes for some interesting racing, especially if it is damp or raining, mind you, too much rain and they can't run, just slide down the track.

Nice thing is no parks and company is good, free plug in etc

Thanksgiving is Oct 13 (Monday) and yes we might be away. Went through a torrential rainstorm last year - fun but wet

Got the new winch on truck today, and new quad is waiting for me in Prince George, so I am spending Thanksgiving in the Bush looking for a Swamp Donkey. No turkey dinner but a can of stew will do.
