I needed some advice. I am at my wits end on dealing with Gulf Stream when dealing with problem that were noted when I picked up the RV new from SaddleBack RV. But, since I live in Northern California and my schedule and budget does not lend itself to go back down to Southern California. The problems with the tears in the cushions on the couch, rips in the overhead cushion and the rip in the mattress and the splits in the caulking on the roof were not taken care of before I pick up the RV. I was told by the service manager and the sales who took the pictures and sent them to Gulf Stream that I would not have a problem getting the replacement done in Northern California. These problems existed before I picked up the unit and Gulf Stream tells me this is wear and tear. I cannot handle it anymore. I cannot believe that they are blaming me and do not want to take care of it. I have been trying to take care of it for almost a year. The Gulf Stream representative, I believe his name is Brian this time, again denied the repairs. Can someone direct me for help.

As much as I hate them this sounds like the reason God made lawyers. Just a letter from one would probably light a fire under Gulf Streams as they would not want their "good" name being tarnished if this went to court. Its stories like this on these forums that convinced me to go Jayco. Just a thought for what its worth.

They found out fleetwood or most will not buy back the dealers stock!!!! MY MY MY what is a bank to do?? If you want to get the lawyer go get him hey are lawyers one step below the dealer!!! If you really want to get the best deal go hundreds of miles away and find out then you really need a lawyer!!! What do you really save if we get 20% off or 25% we are gonna keep rv for 7 to 10yrs. If it is the one the wife wants!!! nough.

If you will call the general manager of Gulf Stream and for the life of me I cannot remember his name he will get you satisfaction. You should not have to do that but may be the only way. I will tell you that is why I sold a new Gulf Stream after the factory screwed it up. Dane

It's always nice the hear that something is finally getting done, but it is still a shame that a person has to go through some of this type of******just to get to the right people.
