Hey, there's always the guy that doesn't answer your questions, but goes on a tangent: Today's my turn

If I had a downhill run at home, I'd never mess with the macerator. Rent a trencher, and lay down 100' of 3" ABS, and have your own home dump station. The 10' drop will give you a nice suction and drain the tanks well.

I have a home dump station, and I like that I can just put the hose in and let it rip. Even if I had a rise, I'd still put a sewage pump in the ground and not have to mess with a pump and 100' of poo hose every time.

MB you got that right! My 3'' abs runs 60' with a downhill of about 20'. I stay away, afraid I'll get sucked in there.

Thanks for all the info. At home I have a direct dump station, but this info was for another location where I cannot get near the septic system and I am not allowed to dig and lay pipe. So the hose and pump will work great for me. Now I need to find a source for the 3/4" fittings that were mentioned. Thank you all for taking time to answer my question. Have a great day! George

Well I wound up pumping 150 feet. No problem. Pump was only warm to the touch after doing 3 40 Gal. tanks. Glad I bought it. Sure beats hauling stuff in a wheeled tank. George

It is important to use the correct size cable, these things use a lot of power and you DO NOT want it to die when the pipe is full!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you have to get the special 3/4 fittings mentioned above?

I found a hose at Walmart that was 3/4 through the fittings.
