If it hooks up with a 3" flexible hose (Stinky Slinky) no reason to unhook it, Just cap the outlet.. IT won't stress the plumbing any

If the pump motor hooks directly to the pipes.. What Eisleyr said.

John,
Mine does not have a 3" hose, here's what mine looks like.

However although it is the twist on one without the 3"hose, it does have a bolt on plate on the back (you can't see it in the photo). The wiring is just a plug into a jack in the MH bay. So you have now given me the idea of mounting it on a piece of 2x6" about a foot long (for some stability) and simply attaching a short piece of sewer hose. Something I no longer have to mess it.
Great !!

This forum is terrific for things like this, thanks.

You are missing the fact that your tank won't get "flushed" with a macerator or sewer solution. I use them only when necessary, even though I have tank mounted sprayers.

that's why I use my sprayer in combination with macerator pump and before that sewer solution. with sewer solution I hooked it up with a "wye" so I could alternate between the two, hit both at the same time, etc. and the sewer solution could actually rotate to sort of shoot a stream back up into the tank.

Actually I have a tank sprayer also. Once the black tank is empty, I can flush it and drain it again if I want to. I just didn't think it was relevant to my question of leaving the Sani-Con pump/macerator attached or not.

With the Sani-Con, you flush the black tank then equalize the tank level with the grey then shut the grey off and reflush the black with grey water. You do this a couple times and the black get really rinsed. It takes no time at all. You can also flush with the spray washer but it's not usually necessary.

If you have the "one piece plus hose" unit (Tank Buddy) (Which is what I thought you had) it's like my Flo-Jet

I would remove it for transport, Same as I do my Flo Jet.. Lessen the load on the pipes

Yeah John, I think that's what I'll do.
