I just made reservations at Fort Wilderness to arrive on October 31st. Has anyone spent halloween at FW. Can I expect a bunch of kids knocking at my door. If so, I would like to prepare and have a bunch of goodies before I get there.

We are going to be there and I asked on http://www.disboards.com/, (scroll down to the camping forum) if there was going to be trick or treating and they said last year they had about 200. Our grandkids are going to be there and they are going trick or treating.

I ask if they do on the dish forum and they said last year there were a lot of kids at FW. Our grandchildren are planning on it.

We were there last Halloween, and yes Trick or Treating was done at FW. I don't think it is an official WDW event, but the campers take it upon themselves to celebrate the day. Our kids loved it. Most campers have their rigs fully decked out in Halloween decorations. I hope you have a great time! The party at MK was a lot of fun also.

We have a large group that goes the weekend before Halloween and all of the kids trick or treat in the loop we all stay in. This is done on our own not WDW, it is a great time. Yes a lot of people decorate their sites some more than others but it is nice to see what people have done. This is our 4th Halloween plus they have the wine fest at epcot for us big kids that can't have all the sweets!
