Have a look at the Cougar 293SAB.

I'll second the Cougar293SAB. We love ours. The kids have slide out bunks with a trundle bed, plus they have their own toilet and sink in the back next to their room. The angle walk way to the Master offers a bit more privacy. And the full bath has lots of room, especially the shower. Indoor surround sound, outdoor and master bedroom speakers with individual control and overall, a nice 5ver for a family. The fold away bed in the couch also comes with a self inflating air mattress for extra sleeping space.

take a look at the cherokee 295. it is basically the same floor plan aa the wildcat but a 3' longer. Which gives you more storage and sofa with arm rest. We narrowed it down to these and once we found the front bunk house could not find any others we liked better. I am 6' 300lb and could not get on one side of the bed if master was in front. The cherokee 295 also has a better bathroom. Has a hall on one side to bunk house with a door to the bath. no curtain and do not have to worry about showering after the kids are in bed or whether they want in bunk house. It is does weigh more than the wildcat. it is wood frame vs the alinumum wildcat. We love the floor plan and have slept two families in it several time and no problem. not sure on the wildcat but the sofa up front can even sleep two kids so you can hold 5 up in the bunkhouse. We chose the cherokee over the wildcat for the extra storage in pantry, under closet and the additional link in cab. space. not to mention the bathroom

Good luck and let me know if you have any specific questions. If you are tall get the skylight in shower gives a little extra head room.

let us know what you get.

I really like the Jayco 325BHS. The Silverback BHS is also beautiful unit and probably a step up, but the Jayco is probably a classic by now. I recently got a quote on one from RV Direct, so they are still out there.

We are very happy with our 2007 Cedar Creek bunkhouse fifth wheel (they have many floorplans). Cedar Creeks are priced higher than Cougar, Wildcat, Jayco, KZ Durango, Salem, Sierra, and Sandpiper.

As with most rv's, you get what you pay for.

I think that this is a very difficult question to answer. A lot depends on your budget, your tow vehicle, and your personal preferences. I think you need to search for a unit with bunks that fits those three criteria. That said, we have a 2007 Silverback with quad bunks, 4 slides. We were involved in an accident on the NJ Turnpike at the end of August (a tractor trailer failed to stop and hit a Durango and pushed him into us) and the insurance company has totaled our fiver. We are in the process of settling with the insurance company. We have on order a 2009 Cardinal (I forget the model number) with five slides and bunks. If it wasn't for the fact that we're well insured (thank goodness!) and we owe a lot less on our fiver than what it's worth (again, thank goodness!), there would be no way we could afford this trailer. Also, we tow with an F450 and GVW is a non-issue for us. As for the floorplan, it totally fits our needs. Besides the bunks, it has a side hall bathroom without which any floorplan would be a deal breaker for us. So, my advice to the OP is to narrow down the criteria and shop, shop, shop!!!!

There could be a lot of end of season 2008 model deals out there. We bought in September and found there was alot of room to negotiate. We went with a bunk house model by Triple E but I don't think they export to the US. It is a smaller family oriented company, I e-mailed them a question and got a reply by phone the next day. Great customer servise and they take a lot of pride in what they build.

We have a SunnyBrook 3150 w/Quad Bunks in the Back w/entertainment center in the middle w/closet on the side & shelf above each bunk. Kids love it! They have their own bdrm! Our bdrm is in front over cab w/bath. We had same floorplan in travel trailer Sunnybrook/then they made it in a 5th wheel & dh had to have the 5th wheel. That's what he really wanted when he bought the pull-behind. We love it. We have an 11 yr old son & 16 yr old daughter, but they always bring friends so, we have plenty of room. It has a super slide w/dinette & sofa bed that slides w/tons of room in den. We've had Terry, Coachmen, Pop-up (2) still have 1, another one I forget, & the SunnyBrook has been the best Quality one yet! We LOVE it!

Look at the Keystone Montana Mountaineer 332PHT --

floorplan here

The bunkroom has a jacknife with a bunk over it. Two additional bunks fold up against the wall. It has a hard door for privacy.

The master bedroom also has a hard sliding door. The side aisle bathroom is big, with a garden tub/shower. Oh, and it has 16-inch wheels.

You'll probably need a one-ton truck to pull it, though.
