Skyline has not updated their website for the 2009 models yet. I saw pictures of them while searching dealer inventories. Think they have a 17', 19' & 22' models.

Don't care for the front end - yeah, I know it's streamlined but I don't like it...

I don't mind the looks of the front end, but it does limit the size of the awning quite a bit.

Our local dealer has all three Joey models. We were considering the 246 (queen bed at front and 3 bunks in the back). The rounded front end was what got us looking at them - we love them! There was a big storage area/closet in the back as well as 3 or 4 drawers - lots of room to store the kid's stuff. When we went back for the second look DH found the Nomad 266 for only $1000 more and thought we should think about that instead. It has a double and single bunk (better for teenage daughter) and also a sofa (for those cold or rainy days when we might want to be inside). Then I get an email from another dealer who has a KZ Sportsmen S272LE (same floor plan as the Nomad 266) for about $1000 less than the 266 and when I looked at the picture, low and behold, it also has the rounded front! So now we are planning to ask for a lower price for the Sportsmen (it is in US dollars and now that our CND $ has dropped so far, it's not such a great deal anymore) and if he won't go any lower we will get the Nomad 266 - or maybe we'll go back to thinking about the Joey!

We looked long and hard at them during the Hershey show. We are probably going to end up with a KZ Coyote, but wanted to see similar products. I was pretty shocked by what a piece of trash the Joey was. the build quality was poor, fit and finish worse. The area under the one dinette seat looked like it was framed with construction scraps, buy a blind drunk. They managed waste most of this space with a very sloppy exterior outlet installation and several cables haphazardly strung across the area. There are far too many better choices out there, no need to buy this junk.
