Have a 1996 Bounder with Dual Pane Windows. Seal of rear window leaked many years ago and condensation formed between the panes making it difficult to see in or out. Over the years the condensation dried and can see somewhat better, but still blurry. Within last few years seal failed on non-sliders, driver's and passenger's windows, and condensation formed somewhat interfering with side view mirrors. Short of replacing the windows, can the condensation be eliminated? If not, ball park figure for replacing them?

Phone 260-463-2116, ext. 529 Sue Phillips. She is a really nice gal to speak with.I did some research on this 4 years ago and talked to a lot of people in the trade. There is something called squiggle which is what we would call a sealer between the two panes of glass. It is put in place and heated to a certain temperature and that seals the two panes of glass.Once the seal breaks moisture sets in.If left for a period of time the moisture will etch the glass.I had a Bounder and I replaced driver and passenger side (4 windows) without frame for $340 delivered 4 years ago.Good luck to you.

352, is that a Fleetwood number or a manufacturer for the windows? I might need some help with my 93 Pace windows.
Thanks

Some time back, I remember someone had actually drilled a hole thru the windows, then did some magic (probably involving alcohol) and everything cleaned up. I now have a 65000rpm grinder, and all I need is a 1/8 carbide bit to try it myself. Has anyone ever tried this?

In the past I have tried cutting through the adhesive/spacer layer from the sides in windows that were thick enough for this to work, but the results were never really successful although they did result in considerable improvement. I tried washing with alcohol and tried blowing dry air through for a couple of days-got rid of the actual moisture, but there was always some haze left in the window.

Here is a link on another forum describing the leaky window fix. You will have to join the site to probably read but it's free.
