I can believe some of these folks jumping in before thinking about it. but if they pause for about 1/2 second, they will realize that it is extremely foolish. Hey I liked my dog and my cats, but I am not willing to die for them.

I think he was trolling and the dog was bait.----Sorry my dog would have been bait too, sharks, alligators and bears your on your own. Oh yeah and snakes too---I'm a 300 lb sissy when it comes to those critters and am proud of it, and I will be proud sissy long after that dude gets eaten by a shark. But give me a 44 mag. and that's a totally different story, now we even the field and that's a dead shark now, and if I can find any of his buddies they are dead too.--Till I run out of ammo.

The male ego is just so fragile!

If you get into the fight for real, your children are apt to get you back in one piece. What that person did is he didn't weigh, he didn't think, he didn't wonder what was going to happen... he got in there and made it happen. That kind of commitment and ferocity is very effective and indeed, was enough to repel one of the most feared predators on the planet.

Now, as to whether or not you should buy your brats that x-box or whatever, that's another issue. More than likely, what you're doing is raising another generation of wimps that way. And if you're silly enough to spend $100 bucks on a pair of kids' shoes, don't expect any sympathy from me. Get them some martial arts lessons instead, that might do them some good. Or just save the money and kick them out the door to find odd jobs, get some life experience, and buy their own $100 dollar shoes. They might even learn out to fight out there in the big wide world. I know I sure did...

I have to get a move on, so I'll leave you with that for the rest of the day.

What I want to know is, when are they going to start selling Comfort Zone for HUMANS????? 'Cause some days...

I dont have brats I have kids. If you would leave your dog a lone you might have kids too one day. But we know that won't happen don't we? It's not my fault that your parents didn't love you enough to buy you decent shoes and the stuff that you would like to have. Again PLEASE GET A LIFE! Also I don't recall asking for your sympathy. As far as kicking some thing never mind you might just get your dog after me. You should try to treat a person better than you treat your pet, you might just have a better life.

i took on 3 pit bulls in a pack that came in my yard after our cat and chased them away thought they were going to get me for awhile there,if i had a gun on me they would have been gone for good, they also went after a nabor in his garage, they are gone for good now owner had them taken away by the dog police.and i would do it again if i had to.

You are lucky, those 3 pit bulls could have kicked your butt if they wanted to. Once their jaws lock on your arm, leg, side, whatever, good luck getting them to let go. You are not tougher then 3 pit bulls, I promise....

I would fight the devil for my kids so a silly old shark or alligator or ??? wouldn't be that big of deal whether it was a kid or one of my dogs. I'd certainly give it a fight.

I also understand the best way to avoid a situation such as this is to not allow said children or pets to be in harm's way. An ounce of prevention.....
