You must have gotten the 24RL? If so then I think you 'll like it very much ~ it's similar to my 25rks TT.

Congratulations!! We've had our Wildcat for 3 seasons now. Here are a couple of Wildcat owners forums to check out. I know there are PDI checklists there.

They are a great bunch of folks. Everyone has problems at first and we will help you out as much as we can. Is it the 24RL? West or East coast edition?
Congrats again!!!

Another thing it is the 24.5ft. and it was $28,000, did we go to far overboard on the price? MSRP was $36,000.
Since you've ask, I would say that $28k is a little too high and probably that would be the MSRP. You probably can go lower to $21k or $22k. My fiver in my sig with all the bells and whistles, I paid $26,600.00 locally before tax. Anyway congrats.

We have an 06 BHBP, (Bunk House) it meets our needs just fine and it usually needs some TLC every spring (leaking hydraulics, propane leak, door latches, mostly little stuff) but I expect anything I own mechanical to need maintainance. For our first 5th wheel it is serving us well.

OP, I wouldn't let the electric awning scare you. They are just a different animal than the traditional awning IMO. If the wind is picking up roll it in. If the rain gets super heavy roll it in. It's just the press of a button with the electric! The traditional's are definitely more sturdy and durable but the electric is so convenient you can pull it in easily when conditions dictate. I would NOT depend on any "automatic" sensor to do the thinking though. These are the parts I see the most complaints about.
My wife will never have a traditional awning now that we have an electric and it takes work off of my back too. Her 90yr old grandfather can put the awning in or out by himself with the press of a button! That and the fantastic fans are some of the features I'm liking the most with our new unit.

Congratulations Countrygirl2 on your new rig. We are headed to the show tomorow morning. Here is a checklist I found on the web.PDI CHECKLIST. Hope this helps. Also, if you have a friend with a video camera to video everything they tell you, it is a great way to go back and remember what they said. Your head is going to be spinning on the last thing they told you while they are going on to something else. Have fun, and again, congratulations! PS, the deal is already done, so don't worry about it, just enjoy and don't look back.

Congrat's on your new camper. You asked, so yes I think the price is high.
However, what matter's is if YOU are happy with the deal and the camper. Enjoy!
