Thirteen years to the day after being acquitted of killing his wife and her friend in Los Angeles, O.J. Simpson was found guilty of robbing two sports-memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in a Las Vegas hotel room.

Don't get too excited about a simple conviction......with his access to good attorneys, he'll walk with a slap on the wrist or the whole thing will be tied up in appeals forever. Sometimes, there just isn't any justice.

The lawyers have already said they want a new trial.
It's not over yet

You know, OJ got away with two very brutal and bloody murders 13 years ago. Whether or not they consciously think about this fact or not, I believe the sentencing judge and whomever looks at any appeal he might make, are going to realize it. Justice proceeds like a pregnant turtle, but it does get there sometime eventually. Or as someone else said a little more eloquently, 'The wheels of justice grind slow, but they grind exceedingly fine'.

I paid no attention to the original trial and intend to repeat that for this one.

You can bet though that even with where he is at, he is still receiving celebrity status. I'd about guarantee you he's got a luxury cell that he does not spend much time in. Probably spends the biggest amount of time with jail personell and kicking back having a good old time, even for jail....

If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments.

Don't you know he is not guilty? The Gun did not fit his hand.
That alone is worth 30 years of appeals.

In this case I hope you are 110% right on the money.
