Interesting...not a single one of our dogs names are in the "Top 20" yet only one of ours has an unusual name.

We have:

*Loppy
Pistol Pete "Petey"
Tootsie

*I have never heard of another dog named Loppy. Yes, he came named from his previous owner and we kept it since it suits him so well.

Hmm, somehow I didn't think any of ours would be on the list, and they're not.

Teddy did not make it unless you count the nickname Teddy-Bear. Belle made as she is Silver Belle.

Actually, it's an encouraging list. There are a lot fewer meaningless 'people names' than I expected.

I never thought giving people names was worth $0.0000000000000001 . Giving a pet a name that means something and recognizes this is a pet is my preference.

My name here comes from that of my youngest dog. I never thought I'd be using it for more than a few months. The fact that it's unique ..............

& I, I took the road less travelled by.

Only have 2 dogs at this time and Ricky and Alice are certainly not on the list. Looking at the list I had 3 dogs that have crossed the bridge with the popular names now..go figure. Buddy, Jack and Budster.
