Fwiw, we ve got the ones from Harbor Freight and they seem to fit our 225-70X16 tires great.
I think I paid 10 bucks for the complete set.

My DW can also sew just about anything and made a pair of these out of some ripped tarps we had hanging around. Sewed in a channel and fed bungee cord through it so it would hug the tires nice and tight. Cost about $5 not including the cost of the ripped tarp.

Amen, I have had a trailer of some sort for more than 30 years and never covered a tire and never saw any ill effects from not doing so. I don't get all the hoopla.

This might: Aerospace 303. But I would not trust the stuff you linked. And some tire manufacturers tell you not to use any tire protectant at all.

Also check Ebay. I bought some canvas covers and they were half the price of the vinyl and look and work just fine.
